Great Bonnie! We have another eclipse turning, twisting and well fückin' us up. I've noticed many here in Sydney only existing in their heads (and then even further afield). With the karmic axis strongly showing us where we need to detach in relationships particularly our past patterns of toxic dependence and inner child wounding up for all to see...we have an opportunity this weekend to end this shït for good! Excuse the vulgarity - but all this energy is well...vulgar.
We have so many blessings at the moment in the sky lover Venus, wise Jupiter and ethereal Neptune in a beautiful conjunction in cosmic hearted Pisces drawing us into what is all magical and wonderful about this universe...the Sun exalted in passionate Aries and Saturn in strength in humanitarian Aquarius are also a point of strength to build your healthy sense of self and connection with community. The new moon moon in Bharani has the Shakti to LET GO (now as someone who is tired of repetitive yoga class rhetoric I'm not just wishy washying this at you I MEAN IT - LET THAT SHÏT GO PLEASE). Apologies for the caps. Let's get real: What is your biggest fear? The fear that would feel like it would kill you? This is it my friend. Yes this can be in physical life such as a person, job, home but I have the feeling we are all dealing with deeper inner wounds now together. We are getting closer to the source. And these childhood wounds are only creating this external example of what isn't LOVE. For you to move forward into all the gifts of May and begin fresh this is your eclipse to really DO THE WORK (another phrase I hate over hearing). But yeah. Do it. For YOU. Stay light, Mark :) #astrology #vedicastrology #jyotish #newmoon #eclipse #horoscope #astrologersofinstagram #yogasydney #sydneyyoga #aries #bonnietyler

Ben, you're always running here and there,
You feel you're not wanted anywhere. If you ever look behind and don't like what you find There's something you should know, you've got a place to go. I used to say I and me, now it's us, now it's we. ~ Michael Jackson Welcome to April! Wow what a change in the sky (and hopefully in your own lives - please leave a comment to share how you're finding it). The karmic axis has changed signs two days ago, Jupiter to its home in Pisces last night...much is different astrologically. For Easter we will have the Sun in Aries and Moon in Libra. The Sun will be burning strong in Aries at its exaltation (as of this afternoon) and will enter the same sign as the karmic node Rahu. There is amplified vitality abundant at the moment. Fresh new energy, confidence, adventure and perhaps a side of arrogance (keep this in check please for the sake of us all). Especially with the upcoming full moon in Libra we need to channel this newfound sense of self into co operating with others otherwise there will be a feeling of separation because of Ketu being in the same sign as the moon. The balance between I and we is very much at the forefront right now. It's a dance and the steps need to be learned, relearned and practiced by us all. The gift of this full moon is to liberate ourselves from the past through the mirroring of others. The upcoming new moon in Aries in a fortnight is our first solar eclipse this year (to be expanded upon on the next post in 2 weeks) so Libra is highlighted now to lead us onto an empowered new path on the upcoming horizon- our relationships from the past are resurfacing to be healed, patterns learned or these people detached from - look into your relationships (any close, intimate connection) and feel into what is negative attachment in your relating life. What do you need to work on? Stronger boundaries? Expressing how you feel? Softening? Releasing expectations? Or having some? I see this Chitra full moon Saturday night as a moon to get what we truly deserve if we act righteously. If we act from our true north/moral compass and step forward with integrity we can be rewarded. Yet if we only act (and react) from the illusion of ego/self aggrandisement we will miss the merits waiting for us. There is much wonder ahead dear readers but as we take these new steps with all the changes happening it would be foolish to act too soon from a place of pomposity or conceit. Be strong but be a stronger lover. Happy Full Moon. #astrology #vedicastrology #fullmoon #astrologersofinstagram #libra #sydneyyoga #yogasydney #jyotish #horoscope #jupiter When the moon and the sun join together for April 1st (here in the southern hemisphere) we are all but fools in the game of life. A pinch and a punch (and let's add some knocks and kicks) we have all had and many of us have grown tired and weary...fatigued and submitted to the powers at be pulling the strings above us and it is at this point it would be most foolish to hand over our sovereignty. For April is where the game changes.
I'm going to bullet point these shifts as who doesn't like clear and concise?! 1. Our new moon tonight is in Revati joining the sun in the final lunar mansion of the sky. This is truly the end of a long 12 months and most beautifully Revati shakti is shining growth and prosperity onto a new life ahead. Being the end of zodiac belt it is granting us safe and prosperous transport from and end to a beginning. 2. On April 13 the karmic axis is changing signs and this has been a long 18 months from October 2020 of trying to find security (Taurus) through all the turmoil and unpredictability (Scorpio). Shifting to Aries is another confirmation of new beginnings and new willpower for us all and balancing this with our relationships with others in Libra. This axis will bring a lot of initiatives in not just our personal lives but also on the world stage. 3. On the eve that the karmic axis shifts Jupiter changes signs from Aquarius to Pisces heralding in a rise in consciousness. Our faith, hope and spirits lift and depending where it is in your chart (a great time for a reading with me to clarify) is where you will expand and prosper over the next 12 months. 4. Saturn on the 29th of April is also leaving a very long stint in Capricorn for a couple of months and heading into Aquarius (before retrograding back in July for the rest of the year). This short shift will hopefully connect us more to community, humanity and show us where our freedom/collective duty has been severed and how it needs to be taken back. 5. Finally Kal Sarpa is the phenomena in the sky when the planets are trapped inside of the karmic axis (this has been ongoing for many months). When all planets are in this karmic bowl we (all humans) are at the mercy of something greater (I mean we always are but it is CLEARLY evident at this time and there is less Will at hand). The end of April see's this end and as Mercury leads the way out. Mercury is our rational, reasonable and sensible intelligence. And we will need this moving forward in our own lives and together as a whole. Stay light, Mark :) I never meant to cause you any sorrow
I never meant to cause you any pain I only wanted to one time to see you laughing I only wanted to see you Laughing in the purple rain ~ Prince The full moon is in an unifying polarity tomorrow afternoon. The sun in Uttara Bhadrapada bringing rain (rain being symbolic of fertility and growth - not necessarily precipitation although we have had an excess of that of late) and opposite the moon in Uttara Phalguni granting the shakti of prosperity through union. Together we find fertility of union around us. This doesn't have to be romantic (although it most certainly can)...more so it means CONNECTION is the theme of this lunar phase. How we can connect and unite with those around us and what can be gained from these unions. With Mars and Venus in Capricorn (planets of pursuit and attraction) together this is quite a powerful yet friction-full combination. Ie don't be surprised with the ol' hit and miss adventures ahead - patience is your virtue right now. Try to think of what is worthwhile quality wise and not just become opportunistic. Jupiter and Mercury together in Aquarius keep us buoyant and thinking outside of the box so really this full moon has a lot going for it. There is much to be gained and potential for these connections we make to grow fortuitously. Those with sidereal Virgo and Pisces will feel the splendor of this as it points to big changes arising in mid April that will create a big shift for us all...but for now a taste of what is to come. Those with Capricorn are probably still feeling the immense pressure and roadblocks in the way of their success but slowly and surely this will shift. Set an intention to connect with those that can support your desires this full moon and you will be on track to greatness. I tell myself that if I believe in you In the dream of you With all my heart and all my soul That by sheer force of will I will raise you from the ground And without a sound you'll appear And surrender to me To love ~ Madonna/Rain All over the world our planet is speaking. It is saying different things in different tongues. In one corner it blows winds, in others it floods and then somewhere else it shakes the earth or burns it. We are from these elements that continually show their might above our illusion of security or domination. How can one be invincible to the same stuff we are made, yet forgotten and dreamed away? Lessons, Lessons, Lessons are at the forefront of this month - it's quite unusual to have so many planets for so long to gather around one sign...during these past 2 years Capricorn has been heavily highlighted - currently the Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Saturn and Pluto reside here - wowsers! Capricorn an earth sign yet symbolic of the celestial crocodile Makara who Mother Ganga mounts swimming down our great waterways from land to sea...from material world to spirit world. Interestingly so too does lord of the rain Varuna who rules the new moon ahead (a little like Poseidon/Neptune) and god of love Kama (a little like Cupid). Capricorn tests our foundation - what is truly underneath you supporting you, and what is not. This sign also tests your faith, perseverance and integrity. Where are you going and what is going to last? As the moon moves onward over the next night into Aquarius our new moon in Shatabhisha is supported by Jupiter. With so much behind the sun and moon in Capricorn it feels as though there is a heavy burden of the past. If you turn back you can see all the baggage and debris of the past year or so. But you need to look and even more so you need to feel it. If you do not you can not move forward. Shatabhisha is a deep healing space with the symbol of an empty circle. We are at the time together that we need to empty ourselves to create space for new action. Karma means action. From the past in Capricorn we can learn to move forward into the future of Aquarius. Aquarius rules our community and it will take us all to do this together. Stay light, Mark :) #astrology #vedicastrology #karma #jyotish #newmoon #astrologersofinstagram #capricorn #aquarius #shatabhisha #horoscope #yogasydney #sydneyyoga Om Asatoma Sad Gamaya ~ Lead us from illusion to truth
Tama Soma Jyotir Gamaya ~ From darkness to light Mrityorma Amritam Gamaya ~ From death to immortality Om Shanti Shanti Shanti ~ Peace Peace Peace Tonight the full moon in Magha roars us into the end of a cycle. We are letting go, leaving something behind, perhaps even something that has been held in the body, stored, for a very long time. There may be grief, there may be mourning, but there is heavy release that shifts our state from one to another. From darkness to light. Residing in the sign of the lion, Leo, we return to our honour. To our nobleness. With Jupiter and the Sun opposite in Aquarius we have illumination and faith to carry us over this threshold (with the support of our community or friendships)...all will be revealed by the culmination of light that illuminates tonight. Allow the tears, emotions, heaviness to come up, to leave the body and restore you to you true strength. It is here in Leo we find our brave hearts, our courage and our convictions to stay true to them. Reach out to those your feel a kinship with. Allow those kindred souls to uplift and cheer you into this new state. This is not a time to be alone, perhaps even this is the illusion you are transcending. You taught me precious secrets Of a truth withholding nothing You came out in front and I was hiding But now I'm so much better And if my words don't come together Listen to the melody 'Cause my love is in there hiding ~ The Carpenters I always pondered why the Sun is in Aquarius on the most romantic day of the year. The intellectual sign of humanitarian pursuits hardly seemed as fitting as say the romantic Libra or the poetic Pisces. Yet if you look closer, which so often in life unearths countless treasures, you see the Sun is opposite to where it rules in Leo. The Sun in Aquarius resides 7 signs away from where it belongs in Leo. It is in the opposition of signs we find our polarity that balances us. From self (sun) to other (7 signs away). In the birth chart your 7th house represents marriage, partner and other - the mirror that reflects you. The external that assists and integrates the internal - on our journey home to remembering our completeness. This V Day we find Mars and Venus dancing closely together for about a month. They journey through 3 signs together over the next few months from Sagittarius to Capricorn to Aquarius. United together these two principles of masculine and feminine (in us all to different balancing degrees) can be passionate bubbling over to the battleground most of us know all too well. This heightened bubbling, boiling and steamy dance creates a universal tango we must rhythmically embrace. There is a flow to our step and an order to these steps if we can tune in to the heartbeat within us all ( (Baby, get out of the corner). This dance is eternal and when conquered it creates an escalation of balanced energy much like the raising of kundalini. Sagittarius has already begun this two step, this back and forth, this serenade of spirit. We begin optimistically (as Sagittarius is so embedded with) and expansively and then move into the committed Capricorn around the 28th of Feb. The union then turns serious and reality hits. Finally Mars and Venus cha cha into Aquarius in May cultivating the freedom of this sign to connect but not possess another. This can play out in your actual human relationships but ultimately this is only a reflection of what we all move through energetically...this union is for each and everyone of us, regardless of the modern take on Saint Valentine's agenda to sell romance...this romance is deeper than human bonds. It is a bond of divine love from cloth we are all made of and long to sew back together into the universal stars of spirit. #astrology #jyotish #vedicastrology #astrologersofinstagram #valentinesday #vday #venus #mars #sagittarius #capricorn #aquarius #leo #carpenters #sun Hello darkness, my old friend
I've come to talk with you again Because a vision softly creeping Left its seeds while I was sleeping And the vision that was planted in my brain Still remains Within the sound of silence ~ Simon and Garfunkel It is here in the eye of the new moon tonight that we find the propensity for true silence. All that has been ignored, avoided, filled with noise and chatter becomes still and obvious to hear. There is nowhere to hide to hear this song singing from within. And yet you have to tune in, to listen and you are meant to sing into this void. This song is of the soul and it is a treasure for you to unbury. The song of silence. There is a feeling of being hemmed in this new moon in Shravana. With the karmic axis holding all the planets in its spiritual hands we get the feeling of being controlled by something greater than our wills. With so many planets gripped by the sign of sidereal Capricorn there is a seriousness or a sense of gravely important work ahead. Compounded by the new moon being so close to Saturn this great oppression of the everyday people the titles fall, the ego breaks and we come to realise we all everyday people. And we all have great work to do to overcome the inner and outer control. This plays out collectively and inwardly. The outer world and the inner world. Jupiter and Venus with Mars on either side of the Sun and Moon give their support like a galactic hug. We are supported. There is support. Both Venus and Jupiter are the auspicious gurus or teachers granting both wisdom and abundance. Venus now moving forward means we can find comfort and pleasure again too. Just be careful not to fan the flames of Mars too over-aggressively to confront what is arising in your life...though Mars also says even with all this support there is the need to defend or resist as the soldier does. Being in Sagittarius the spiritual warrior defending its sovereignty is a key theme this new moon. This battle starts within...as it always does. Ultimately the shakti of this new moon is to hear this silence and flow with it. Even with all that is happening in the world, all this confusion, noise and hardship it is vital here to tune in within to the reverberating vibrations underneath to flow with that current. This current is the ultimate truth and will never lead you astray. This current with the strings of karma all being plucked and struck with such divine beauty (and timing) to a melody that plays a song of time immortal. You are that song. Stay light, Mark :) #astrology #vedicastrology #jyotish #newmoon #horoscope #astrologersofinstagram #saturn #capricorn #venus #mars #jupiter #sydneyyoga #yogasydney As the Moon sets her eyes to cuddle up into the most nourishing stars in the sky on the opposite side of the world the Sun is surrounded with a different planetary story. The Sun so close to Pluto (planet of death and transformation) and in the same sign as Mercury (communication) and Saturn (lessons) gives us a very Capricorn feeling this full moon. The symbol for this Pushya full moon of the sacred lotus flower pushing through metres of muddy water to bloom above the surface is very relevant over the coming day or so. We are all trying so hard. Trying to hold it together. Showing the world we are OK. These are all Capricorn traits pushing ahead through insurmountable obstacles and sufferings to eventually come out on top. But when we have been doing it so long with changes to systems/structures/pollcies/rules (all ruled by Capricorn) we tend to burn out, harden, detach and become cold.
Depressed already? Ok so this is where our glorious moon comes in. When you reach this point what better way than to bathe in the lunar rays of Pushya. The nourisher of our spirit. Indeed this moon creates spiritual resources if we can tap into its energy. Meditation, mantra, prayer, devotional practices are all very boosted tonight (AEDT). The hitch here is you have to tap into. This won't happen by itself and if you choose not to do something to care for your spirit you will only fall into the opposite energy of the Capricorn Sun/Pluto/Mercury/Saturn. Now I'm not spitting on Capricorn - this sign can hold a depth of space like no other and lead by the best of examples but at this time the moon is calling for nourishment and spiritual upliftment. So use Capricorns skills of discipline and direction to lead you into divine love. Flamingos walk, and sway in peace Seeing this, it makes my troubles cease The sun is hiding, leaving a pink scar That stretches right across the sky That's all we've seen so far And all I do is look into your eyes For that special touch of paradise Just a touch, a touch of paradise Just a special touch of paradise ~ Mondo Rock/John Farnham Stay light, Mark :) |
