All over the world our planet is speaking. It is saying different things in different tongues. In one corner it blows winds, in others it floods and then somewhere else it shakes the earth or burns it. We are from these elements that continually show their might above our illusion of security or domination. How can one be invincible to the same stuff we are made, yet forgotten and dreamed away? 

Lessons, Lessons, Lessons are at the forefront of this month - it's quite unusual to have so many planets for so long to gather around one sign...during these past 2 years Capricorn has been heavily highlighted - currently the Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Saturn and Pluto reside here - wowsers! Capricorn an earth sign yet symbolic of the celestial crocodile Makara who Mother Ganga mounts swimming down our great waterways from land to sea...from material world to spirit world. Interestingly so too does lord of the rain Varuna who rules the new moon ahead (a little like Poseidon/Neptune) and god of love Kama (a little like Cupid). Capricorn tests our foundation - what is truly underneath you supporting you, and what is not. This sign also tests your faith, perseverance and integrity. Where are you going and what is going to last?

As the moon moves onward over the next night into Aquarius our new moon in Shatabhisha is supported by Jupiter. With so much behind the sun and moon in Capricorn it feels as though there is a heavy burden of the past. If you turn back you can see all the baggage and debris of the past year or so. But you need to look and even more so you need to feel it. If you do not you can not move forward. Shatabhisha is a deep healing space with the symbol of an empty circle. We are at the time together that we need to empty ourselves to create space for new action. Karma means action. From the past in Capricorn we can learn to move forward into the future of Aquarius. Aquarius rules our community and it will take us all to do this together.
