In the wise words of the Spice Girls: Get down, get deeper and down, get down, get deeper and down, Saturday night.

The full moon this weekend closes out the eclipse portal and it's been a ride. I've noticed many students are agitated and hard to settle in yoga class compared to normal (of course this could also be me too). As we ride this wave of chaotic transformation with so many planets in sidereal Aries we are a little bit intense, lost and loose. Mars and Venus are together in Gemini spicing up that Saturday Night Diva track and there may be a question of how and where to funnel all this energy? May is a big month astrologically - even though the eclipse portal seals this weekend, the end of the month is driving us to one of the biggest conjunctions this year. But before I address that conjunction (I will in my next new moon post) - the full moon is in sight. Whatever (if anything) arose around the new moon 2 weeks ago it is now time to complete. This could be an old way of living, it could be a belief you had about yourself or your lifestyle or it could be a relationship dynamic - for the moon is in Libra afterall. If the cauldron was stirred and you had some startling insights don't ignore them and resolve, change or heal them now. Aries demands action and Libra calls for justice.

A Vishaka full moon brings our journey to a crossroad or a fork in the road. You now have a choice to make - there are various fruitful outcomes ahead. A symbol for this moon is the tree with many branches that shelters others. If you're a little lost or overwhelmed, think of how you can be of most help to others yet at the same time be like a tree and keep your roots (rather than rip everything up and lose your way). There is a heightening of speed in your step now to achieve and please don't be dismayed to assume there is a wrong choice here either. There are just choices that you previously haven't had but now you do. And it itself is exciting! But stay in your balance/centre and keep walking and you may even notice you've already begun the journey ahead without even having to stop and scratch your head.

Stay light,
Mark :)
