Uttara Bhadrapada is a new moon of cremation. As we lay down on the funeral pyre (a symbol for this new moon) we accept loss, defeat, things we could have done better, the past and we allow the depths to take a version of ourselves. What version are you clinging to? Identity is but a mask and this can be surrendered to the fire, evaporate into the air and you can return to the holy waters to more freedom this new moon. In astrology we can get caught up in defining ourselves by a sign, or a nakshatra or a planet but the truth of Vedic wisdom is we are all the stars and to limit ourselves to our karma only leads to suffering and limitation. To peel back the layers is the journey, not to gather more and more masks of identity.
There is a bit of dreamy confusion around at the moment with the Sun and Mercury in sidereal Pisces joining Neptune. What this is good for: creative projects, spirituality, romance and resting. What this is not good for: thinking rationally/objectively, practicality, mundane tasks, material progression. This is then heightened tomorrow night as the new moon also falls in Vedic Pisces. This isn't the best time to get things started - in fact this is a deep dive into the subconscious and it is more worthy of your time to take time out and really let go into this energy rather than fighting against it. If you do fight there will be much confusion and illusion. If you dive in you will be rewarded with many blissful experiences and answers.
