I thought I would post this new moon post early this week to allow ample time to digest and prepare. The new moon to unfold early Saturday eve (AEDT) is a partial solar eclipse. This is a bookend or conclusion to the full moon/lunar eclipse we've recently sailed through. All that has arisen over the past week or so is the old being dredged up to be dealt with - not as punishment (though karmically it could most certainly be a lesson needing to be learned) - but as a way to release and finally move forward/onward this weekend. If there are still questions left unanswered they will come to resolution in the coming days.
Think of this like a dirty drain that is flooded with new water and cannot help but flush to the surface the old sludge that has been stuck in its pipes for who knows how long. Yes, it is time to clean your pipes my friend (why does this sound worse than intended?). Regardless...the gunk of your past is up so you have a choice: 1- clean it away while it is on the surface or 2- let it slowly drain back down to come up for another time. This doesn't take a wizard to know what's the right course. GET OUT YOUR BROOMS! Really this is a time to say goodbye. The culmination of the full moon in Krittika which was cutting open the wound to see what was ill (inside and outside) is now brought under the protection of the new moon in Jyestha. Jyestha has the power to rise and conquer and this is my challenge for you this week as the moon (mind) wanes into darkness and the sun (soul) is in partial eclipse. If you were to act like your own elder sibling (a symbol for Jyestha), someone who looks out for you, what choices would you make going ahead? There is without a doubt a new path ahead following this weekend but until that time you need to umbrella yourself to shield from the rain of past mistakes, actions, habits etc to stop them from absorbing back in to repeat again. Be clear of what you want, who you are and where you want to go. These are potent first steps ahead. The choice is yours. Stay light, Mark :) #vedicastrology #solareclipse #astrologersofinstagram #horoscope #jyestha #jyotish #astrology #newmoon
