 The full moon ahead this weekend is one of timeless tales. Through perseverance and devotion we ascend. Like a pilgrimage there is a journey. There is action and effort to be made. Discipline and energy is required. Yet you have everything you need this lunar cycle to forge onward. Upward.
Now most importantly what is the journey? If you have no passion for the task ahead that is not it. If you can't give your everything to it, don't do it. But if the electrical current of desire rises in you when you contemplate this journey, by all means this is your green light. Mars is in its home sign of Aries and Jupiter this coming Tuesday enters its exaltation sign of Cancer (see previous post). There is drive and there is support. Lastly I will leave you with the story of the lotus. This timeless fable reflecting in the beauty of flora with such profound simplicity. Through the watery mud this flower pushes from its deep roots through dirty, murky water. Never seeing where it's going fully, never knowing what awaits it beyond the surface of the water. Yet through these challenges she rises. Pushes through the difficulties, the barriers and blooms sacred beauty above where it has come from.  There is a BIG shift afoot, can you feel it? Every 12 years our cosmic protector Jupiter (it literally deflects dangerous flying objects from entering our field with its giant gaseous goodness - the big GGG) enters its position of exaltation. Exaltation is when a planet is in its very best functioning space in our sky allowing it to operate to its utmost excellence. When Jupiter enters the constellation of Karka (or Cancer) on June 2nd the abundant teacher of our skies finds its full nourishing nectar and allows us to drink from this celestial wisdom.
As I've been saying to many of my clients, 2026 is really a bi-polar year. How it began will not be how it ends and even more so how it changes in the next few weeks as Jupiter is really dialing up the energy very soon. I'm not a big fan of 'manifesting' (or really how it's been branded by the new age business sectors) but Jupiter is the planet that expands what it touches and therefore where you put your time, attention and thought processing from the second half of the year counts. Now before we start dreaming of winning a barbie playhouse let's get real on what the sign Cancer represents. It represents where we feel content, connected, at home and restoratively restored to true loving essence. So instead of being a time to push forward selfishly it's more about uncovering the ultimate goodness in yourself, your life and your karmic lessons. Wherever Jupiter rules, resides and in travelling through in our charts will be vital to how you can expand or find this goodness - for that it's a wonderful time to have a vedic astrology reading to soak up all the Jupiterian goodness ahead for you personally. Stay light, Mark :)  Incoming: This weekend we have reached a new moon that is asking us to cut away our old out worn comforts to purify our minds to return back to the essence of who we truly are. Take a breath with me, Inhale and exhale. What sustains you? (versus what has only kept you comfortably static). What is quality to you? (versus a poor substitute for quantity). What needs to be removed, refined or trimmed back in your reality?
With Venus and Jupiter both in Gemini we have choices and a variety of options at our disposal. And really this is adding an element of optimism to this new moon so this culling process doesn't have to be a dull or depressing experience. Affirmations and changing/fooling your mindset can work at this time to add a skip to your step and so too can exploring your options rather than obsessing or tunnel visioning. Variety is the spice of life and all that! Not a bad time to donate old clothes, write down and burn old beliefs or thought patterns (this moon is ruled by the fire god Agni afterall) and also purify what you ingest by cooking more healing meals. Fire in its essence creates both warmth but also burns the dross in our life. Dross is really that which we hoard physically, emotionally or mentally that is excessive or unneeded.
