Rows and floes of angel hair
And ice cream castles in the air And feather canyons everywhere Looked at clouds that way But now they only block the sun They rain and they snow on everyone So many things I would have done But clouds got in my way I've looked at clouds from both sides now From up and down and still somehow It's cloud illusions I recall I really don't know clouds at all ~Joni Mitchell Your perspective, my friend, is really important to stay on top of as we approach this upcoming solar eclipse on Saturday. As Joni sings above you can see the same object/person/idea as opposites at any given time dependent on your current mood/attitude. It may be wise to er on the side of neutrality as best you can rather than jumping from good to bad, from black to white, from love to hate; 'I don't know' may be a suitable affirmation to walk you back from any dramatic ledge while this eclipse does its thing. And really it is striving for an early answer beyond your control (karma) that will bring much tormenting suffering at this time. Do what you need to stay calm and in equilibrium. Answers will come after this weekend. It really is an interestingly underbelly of intensity the buildup to this traffic jam of planets all collecting in Pisces. Those with strong Mercury or Venus (Gemini/Virgo and Taurus/Libra) are being called upon to re-imagine themselves and the way they operate until April when the planets move direct again. Those ruled by Saturn are in for a spiritual upgrade as just hours after the partial eclipse Saturn will move into Pisces. Now those with Pisces (ascendant or moon particularly) are in for a total resurrection of self. Pisces is in the limelight now. We all have this sign in our sky/chart/soul. We are oscillating from illusion to enlightenment as a society. From utter avoidance of truth to compassionate liberation. From addiction to connection. From escapism to arrival. This is confronting, overwhelming and most certainly confusing. And we will often swim in both directions here until we can love and accept it all. For this is the gift of Pisces. The devotional path of pure, all embracing and undiminished love. Stay light, Mark :)

Dear readers (no I am not Lady Whistledown),
I'd like to have you cast your memory back to the end of September last year and think of what you were going through at that time. This was the last eclipse season and it has something to say about the eclipse season now. As we sit in this bubble or portal of time we move from lunar to solar once again. A shadow of karma upon the mind (moon) that leaves a shadow of karma 2 weeks later upon the soul (sun). This bubble of time is very much a churning of the karmic cauldron. Bringing up the demons, bringing up the gods. For the karmic axis is not here to torment but to have us both experience life (both past and future) and also liberate us beyond life/return to source. It's a spider web of celestial tapestry that intricately weaves the most complex yet profoundly simple journey of duality to oneness. Ok I got lost in my own spiritual poetry - really this post is just a check-in to see how y'all are doing. Please leave a comment below on your reflections of what is happening. Is there any correlation/pattern between now and last September? Is there any current theme that is blatantly obvious that the karmic spoon is bubbling up presently? With Mercury and Venus retrograde and Saturn on the precipice of changing signs in Pisces we are all at a fast approaching doorway of enlightenment. We reflect upon our mental/communication landscape (mercury), our values and relationships (venus) - and really these aspects of our lives are being re-developed under this eclipse season. There is a lot of dramatic talk about endings and breaking patterns etc but let's reframe this - you have/are changed/changing. Walking through one door of frequency to another. You can walk back into the old room but you are now vibrating at a different level so it has little for you there. Walk back into the new room and explore all the new (perhaps uncomfortable at first) ways of being. To explore this transformative time for you personally book a reading with me. Booking link in bio. Stay light, Mark :) Every now and then, I get a little bit lonely
And you're never coming 'round Every now and then, I get a little bit tired Of listening to the sound of my tears Every now and then, I get a little bit nervous That the best of all the years have gone by Every now and then, I get a little bit terrified And then I see the look in your eyes Every now and then, I get a little bit restless And I dream of something wild Every now and then, I get a little bit helpless And I'm lying like a child in your arms Every now and then, I get a little bit angry And I know I've got to get out and cry Every now and then, I get a little bit terrified But then I see the look in your eyes Every now and then, I fall apart ~Bonnie Tyler It may be time to fall apart dear one. And by fall apart I don't mean to break. But to fall apart all the old outdated ways that have brought suffering, confusion and illusion to your life. All the aspects of self that have brought deception, avoidance and self drama. Basically all the ways you feed the bs in your own life that you choose that actually brings separation and hurt over unity and forgiveness. As we wander into this lunar eclipse we face the mental landscapes we swim in that bring us down and we have a choice to stay in them to resurface at another time or swim upward into new waters. There is definitely an element of relationships being brought into the limelight this full moon. The Uttara Phalguni moon is all about the prosperity (or lack of) of our alliances, contracts and unions. Venus is retrograde, having us re-evaluate these partnerships. And the sun in Purva Bhadrapada brings a sudden awakening in these areas. Perhaps even an awakening of a self at this time. Now of course as we are in an eclipse there is bound to be confusion and amplification of the mind so there will also be often an overwhelming anxiety at the same time so go slow and stay as calm as you can as all this breaks apart and then re-assembles over the coming days. We have a solar eclipse next that will finish the eclipse season. To look further into the karma of this eclipse season jump over to my bio and book a reading with me.
